چکیده
Due to the complexity of detailed models, single-generator equivalent model (SEM) a wind farm is commonly used facilitate stability analysis. However, adequacy SEM for analysis in direct-drive farms with VSC-HVDC systems still uncertain. Therefore, this article analyzes two aspects: oscillation modes and sub-synchronous (SSO) enhancement by optimizing parameters. Firstly, various critical are characterized according frequency, comparison these between two-generator presented. The effect aggregation on discussed. Then, impact permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) parameters inside-wind-farm/wind-farm-grid SSO explored. It revealed that change PMSG parameters, damping identical. This implies can be improve multi-machine system PSCAD/EMTDC simulations further performed verify theoretical

Impact of DFIG Based Offshore Wind Farms Connected Through VSC-HVDC Link on Power System Stability
With the increased levels of offshore wind power penetration into power systems, the impact of offshore wind power on stability of power systems require more investigation. In this paper, the effects of a large scale doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) based offshore wind farm (OWF) on power system stability are examined. The OWF is connected to the main onshore grid through a voltage source ...

This paper modeled a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) based offshore wind farm integrated through a voltage source converter –based high voltage direct current (VSC-HVDC) transmission system, which is collected with infinite bus for small signal stability analysis. The control system of HVDC system is considered for the stability analysis. The impact of the VSC control parameters on the ne...
متن کاملDynamic Harmonic Modeling and Analysis of VSC-HVDC Systems
Harmonics have become an important issue in modern power systems. The widespread penetration of non-linear loads to emerging power systems has turned power quality analysis into an important operation issue under both steady state and transient conditions. This paper employs a Dynamic Harmonic Domain (DHD) based framework for dynamic harmonic analysis of VSC-HVDC systems. These systems are wide...

Recently, there has been a fast development and deployment of wind energy to meet the increasing electrical power demand and to limit the use of fossil fuels. More and more wind farms are planned far from shore because of good wind condition and less visual impact. This is so called offshore wind farm (OWF). In such a situation, high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission is a favorable opt...
